How to: Copy text and graphics from Word to PowerPoint.
Solution:
Copy text and graphics from Word using the 'Copy' command, and insert them into PowerPoint using the 'Paste' command.
NOTE: Text and graphics must be copied and pasted separately.
1) Copy the text or graphics in Word:
a) Select the desired text or graphics.
b) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy'.
2) Switch to PowerPoint.
3) Open the file where the text or graphics should be inserted.
4) For graphics, do the following:
a) Go to the slide where the graphics should be inserted.
b) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'.
5) For text, do the following:
a) Go to the desired slide.
b) Click in the slide where the text is to be inserted.
c) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'.
6) Repeat steps 1) through 5) for each set of text or graphics that is to be copied.
